Foreign Rights
A six-book Nordic post-collapse saga available for international publishing and translation partnerships.
THE PROPERTY
The Solstorm Saga is a six-book post-collapse series set primarily in Northern Norway and unfolding across more than two decades.
The story begins with the failure of modern systems after an extreme solar event, but survival is only its starting point. Across the series, the world expands through settlement-building, maritime journeys, recovering networks, institutional growth, generational change, and the struggle to build order without reproducing the failures of the world that came before.
Northern Norway gives Solstorm a distinct identity rooted in coastline, sea, weather, practical competence, community, and the physical realities of life at the edge of the North Atlantic.
INTERNATIONAL PUBLISHING
English-language publication of The Solstorm Saga is independently controlled through Forsberg Multimedia.
Foreign-language publishing and translation rights are available for discussion on a language-by-language and territory-by-territory basis.
The intention is to work with established international publishers and professional rights partners capable of producing, distributing, and supporting editions for their own markets.
Film, television, game, and interactive rights are handled separately and are not included in foreign-language publishing licenses unless specifically agreed.
WHY SOLSTORM
Solstorm combines the immediacy of survival fiction with a longer story about what happens after survival succeeds.
Its central questions are not limited to collapse. The saga follows communities as they rebuild food systems, maritime routes, medicine, communication, law, education, archives, trade, and eventually institutions capable of surviving their founders.
The setting is distinctly Nordic, but the central conflicts are broader: family, belonging, authority, responsibility, memory, restraint, and the question of what people choose to preserve when they are given the opportunity to begin again.
The six-book structure provides both a continuing narrative and a substantial long-term publishing property rather than a single standalone title.
SERIES STATUS
SOLSTORM: The Sky Went Wrong, Book One of The Solstorm Saga, is complete and scheduled for independent English-language publication on September 1, 2026.
Books Two through Five are drafted and in revision. The concluding sixth volume is planned as the completion of the series.
The complete saga is designed as one continuous narrative, with each book carrying its own dramatic movement while advancing the larger story.
