SOLSTORM SIGNAL™
A grounded post-collapse saga built for long-form adaptation
What is Solstorm Signal?
Solstorm Signal is the professional development platform for The Solstorm Saga, a six-book post-collapse story world created for publication and adaptation.
The saga begins with a solar collapse, but its true subject is what comes after: the struggle to build order, preserve memory, and create a civilization worth living in without reproducing the failures of the old world.
Set primarily in Northern Norway and unfolding across six books and more than two decades, Solstorm is shaped by sea, weather, silence, and consequence. It is not generic survival fiction. Its central concerns are legitimacy, endurance, institutions, and the moral cost of holding power.

THE PROPERTY
The novels form the foundation of a six-book property with long-form potential across television, games, and other narrative media.
The story begins with one catastrophic event, then expands through settlement-building, maritime journeys, institutional growth, and long-range moral conflict. What starts as survival on a northern coast becomes a much larger question: what kind of order should replace the world that failed?
WHY SOLSTORM STANDS APART
Most post-collapse stories focus on the fall. Solstorm focuses on what follows.
Its central dramatic engine is not chaos, but the effort to rebuild under pressure, govern without domination, and protect what matters without becoming predatory in the process.
Northern Norway gives the story world a distinct physical identity. It is not merely a backdrop. Coastline, fjords, Arctic light, working boats, isolation, and weather shape how people move, survive, communicate, and fight. Place is part of the engine.

ADAPTATION POTENTIAL
Solstorm is structured for long-form adaptation.
For television, it offers a visually distinctive Nordic world, an ensemble-driven six-book arc, and a dramatic progression from immediate survival to institutional and moral conflict.
For games, it offers navigable geography, expedition pressure, settlement-building, resource scarcity, and consequence-driven choices within a world designed for movement and discovery.

CURRENT STATUS
The Sky Went Wrong, the first novel in the six-book Solstorm Saga, is complete. An independent publication is currently scheduled for September 1, 2026.
Books Two through Five are drafted and in revision, while the concluding sixth volume is fully planned.
Solstorm Signal is the professional platform for the property’s rights, adaptation, and cross-media development.
